Christ’s Church at Virginia Tech campus ministry

is a non-denominational Christian community of students who:

--believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God

--believe the Bible is the infallible Word of the one and only true God, and therefore embrace it as our first & final authority for faith & practice as it contains all the truth needed for salvation and living in Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12)

--strive to put our faith in action, to keep growing in our knowledge and love for God, and to transform our world by living as Jesus lived. (James 2:14-26, Colossians 1:9-12, Romans 12:1-2)

Here's a heads up about some upcoming events we wanted you to know about so you can plan ahead to be a part of them:

March 14, Monday, 7pm -- Guys' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

March 17, Thursday, 5pm -- Worship Team meeting

March 18, Friday, 6pm -- Mystery Event -- out to eat, then a surprise activity afterward, planned by the girls.

March 19, Saturday, 7pm -- vtONE Worship Event in Squires Commonwealth Ballroom

March 20, Sunday, 11am -- Oasis Worship

March 20, Sunday, after Oasis -- Free Fellowship Dinner

March 20, Sunday, 7pm -- Girls' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

March 21, Monday, 7pm -- Guys' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

March 24, Thursday, 5pm -- Worship Team meeting

March 25, Friday, 6pm -- Guys' Night Out -- Driving Range, Batting Cage, and Mini-golf

March 25-26, Friday, 2:15pm - Saturday, 3pm -- "Desiring God: A Heart like Josiah's" Girls' Retreat at state park

March 27, Sunday, 11am -- Oasis Worship

March 27, Sunday, after Oasis -- Fellowship Dinner

March 27, Sunday, after Fellowship Dinner -- Core Group Team meeting (CCVT's student leadership team)

March 27, Sunday, 7pm -- Girls' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

March 28, Monday, 7pm -- Guys' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

March 31, Thursday, 5pm -- Worship Team meeting

April 2, Saturday, 6pm -- "Iron Chef" Event

April 3, Sunday, 11am -- Oasis Worship

April 3, Sunday, after Oasis -- Fellowship Dinner

April 3, Sunday, 7pm -- Girls' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

April 4, Monday, 7pm -- Guys' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

April 7, Thursday, 5pm -- Worship Team meeting

April 10, Sunday, 11am -- Oasis Worship

April 10, Sunday, after Oasis -- Fellowship Dinner

April 10, Sunday, 7pm -- Girls' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

April 11, Monday, 7pm -- Guys' Gel Group (small group Bible study)

April 14, Thursday, 5pm -- Worship Team meeting

All of these events take place at the campus house, as usual, or at least start by meeting at the campus house, unless stated otherwise. If you need directions to the campus house, that's easy, just look at the right side of your screen.

Be sure to mark these dates on your calendar, and hey, invite your friends to come with you.

Directions to CCVT's Campus House (413 Clay St. SW)

One of the best ways to get directions to our campus house is through Google maps. Please click here for a map. You'll see that our campus house is only about a block away from most of the dorms on campus, over by the Washington Street tennis courts. It's much closer than most of your classes!

From on Campus:

If you are walking from on campus, do this: When you are standing on Washington Street between O'Shaughnessy (O'Shag) Hall and Johnson Hall you are only one short block away. Cross to the other side of the street and take the sidewalk up the hill. VT's Tennis Courts will be on your right. As you are walking up the hill veer to your left off of the sidewalk and walk up the grassy hill. (Veer left before you get to the chain link fence with all the vines growing on it. We are on the other side of that fence.) You will see the campus house facing you. It's a two story red brick house with a big front porch and a banner on the balcony railing that says "Christ's Church @ VT Campus Ministry" -- so you'll know you found the right place once you get here! It's really pretty simple, but feel free to call us if you have any trouble: 540-552-8292.

From off Campus:

If you ride the bus, we are only 100 yards from the bus stop on Washington Street.

If you drive, we have parking.
