Tomorrow night (Thursday) and every Thursday night is our main weekly meeting which we like to call "Oasis". As the name implies, it's a place to come for spiritual refreshing. Oasis includes worship, Bible study, group discussion, sharing with friends, and prayer.
This week we have an extra special treat to kickoff the new school year. We are going to have a free homemade spaghetti dinner before Oasis, complete with meat sauce, garlic bread, salad and dessert. Our own Michael and Alex Starr are the "starr" chefs, with some help from their friends. Dinner starts at 6pm.
The dinner and Oasis will both be at our campus house, only one block from Lee and Miles halls. For a map and simple directions just go to CHRISTatVT.org and look on the right side of your screen under the photo of our campus house. If you're still not clear on how to get here after looking at that (any directions can be a challenge when you are brand new to campus) give me a call at 540-505-4264 and I'll help you out. But it's really pretty easy to find.
